Our Career Education & Training Center

Overview:

The Career Education & Training Center (CETC) is a licensed, non-degree granting institution with the District of Columbia Higher Education Licensure Commission.

Our Integrated Education & Training program combines adult education, work readiness skills and industry-specific training, along with case management services to assist adult learners in gaining marketable skills that will lead to sustainable careers and encourage self-sufficiency over time. Our services include: Individualized Career Planning.

  • Certification Courses – Microsoft Word and Excel, IC3 Global Standard 6, Hospitality*, Community Health Worker, Home Health Aide, and *Certified Nursing Assistant 

  • Entrepreneurship Training – YWomen Start It Up!

  • Workshops – Digital Literacy, Work Readiness, Financial Literacy, AARP Work for Yourself @50+, and more…

*Must be receiving SNAP w/out TANF benefits and meet minimum requirements to attend this course.
